Pastel Smoky Eyes with Candy Lips: Look of the Day

Pastel smoky eyes are a vibrant way to lighten up what is usually a dark and dramatic. They are super easy to do; they are soft, yet intense. This look is very versatile and can compliment both Indian and western attire…

Base:-
My base is the Studio Fix Fluid by MAC.
Apply a good concealer under the eyes, preferably couple of shades lighter than your actual your skin tone. It is very important to have a bright under eye area for any smoky eye look to work.

Eyes:-
Make sure you have an even and smooth base. Apply an eye primer so that the eye shadows can be applied in a smooth, even layer, and so that it will stay in place on the eyelid.. I have used Urban Decay eye shadow Potion.

On my upper eye lid I have used the eye shadow “Buzz”, on my upper crease line I have used “Buck”, “Darkhorse” on outer crease and “Hustle” on crease. I have used the shade “Virgin” on my brow bone and "Sin" on my inner corners. All the eye shadows are from Urban Decay NAKED and NAKED 3 pallet.

Buzz is described as a “metallic rose shimmer with silver micro-glitter.” It’s a warm, coppered rose with a frosted, metallic sheen.

Buck is a matte darkened beige-brown. It’s really a darker version of Naked. It has the same silky smooth texture and rich color pay off of Naked, too.

Darkhorse is a darkened deep chocolate brown eye shadow with flecks of bronze.

Hustle is a dark plummy chocolate brown with a soft shimmer finish.

Virgin is pale, shimmered nude beige. It’s very, very light, but it’s such a beautiful neutral.

Sin is a champagne colored eye shadow with a touch of pink and a frostier finish.
You can go for any brand of your choice.

I applied a thin stroke of black liquid liner from Maybelline. On my outer lower lash line I have used the Maybelline Collasal Kajal and smudged it with a smudge brush from Colorbar. I have completed my eye makeup with the L’Oreal Million Lashes mascara.

Cheeks:-
My blush is "Bubblegum" by MUA. I have highlighted my cheekbones, nose bridge and chin with Philosophy 7th Heaven All-Over Illuminator. It is a beautiful pinkish champagne cream highlighter that looks gorgeous on cheeks.

Lips:-
My lipstick is “Daddy’s Little Girl” by MAC. You can go for any candy colored lipstick.

So that's it… Pretty simple. Hope you like it. And don't forget to pour in your comments... :)
