The Body Shop Peppermint Smoothing Pumice Foot Scrub

Starting my blog, penning down my first post on father’s day….nothing can beat that..!! Right??

A big Hello pretty ladies,

Yes, finally I have started my very own blog. And the first post is dedicated to definitely my Maa and Papa, to my fiancé Arijit for his continuous support, to Aparajita who has literally kicked off my lazy butt and made me start the blog, to Samannita Di for inspiring,  Kaku Baa- without whom the blog would still be a dream and Anamika, who is more a friend, philosopher and guide than a boss. I love you all….

Today I am going to review a product from The Body Shop. It is a long pending post, long because, I bought the product before the summers and I really wanted to use it over time, enjoy the results and then share my experience with you all. It is “The Body Shop peppermint smoothing pumice foot scrub”

Price:-
INR 650 for a 100ml tub

Ingredients:-

Packaging:-
The product comes in a bright blue round tub
with a screw cap. The tub is simple, yet super cute, attractive.

Directions for use:-
Massage in circular movements over wet feet and wash off with warm water. DONOT USE ON FACE, or on CUTS and BURNS.

My Thoughts on The Body Shop peppermint smoothing pumice foot scrub:-
With the summer around and weather getting warmer, I was planning to get into my sandals and flip flops. Winter is really chilling in the place where I study and even after wearing boots and closed shoes throughout the winter, my ankles and feet become dry and not so attractive. So pampering feet is a must for me in the start of summers. My bhabi suggested me this and I got this in my next visit to The Body Shop.

Fragrance:-
The first thing I noticed upon opening the tub is the strong, uplifting and awakening peppermint fragrance. It feels great. The
peppermint oil is to fight odour-causing bacteria, and promote a cooling sensation on the skin to leave feet feeling refreshed.

Texture:-
The texture on the tub looks like jelly with one or two bubbles here and there, but when I take a little bit of it out and apply to the skin, it feels really really scrubby. The grains of pumice stone are smooth and of same size. It does a great job of scrubbing the dry harsh areas. Other than foot, I even use it on my knees and elbows. I can really feel the particles doing something to my skin. The granules are not rough and are not harsh on skin, but it does its job of scrubbing off dead cells and pampering my feet pretty well.

Summing up my LIKES and DISLIKES:-

What I LIKE about The Body Shop peppermint smoothing pumice foot scrub:-
  •       Volcanic granules for intense exfoliation for the harsh areas.
  •      The granules are non abrasive.
  •      Removes dead, hardened skin beautifully.
  •      Leaves feet soft and smooth.
  •       Refreshing fragrance.
  •      Never irritates or dries out my skin.
  •      Cute packaging.
  •      Easily available at all “The Body Shop” outlets.

What I DON’T LIKE about The Body Shop peppermint smoothing pumice foot scrub:-
  •      Expensive.
  •      Gets over pretty soon.
  •      Unhygienic tub packaging. Needs a separate spatula.

Final Thoughts on The Body Shop peppermint smoothing pumice foot scrub:-
This really has helped to soften my feet, with a great refreshing feeling that stays long and a minty freshening fragrance that lingers. The fragrance lifts me after the long tiring days instantly. I use this scrub often, no matter if my skin has become dry or not, I have become so addicted to this. I can actually see the difference from the very first use. It removes the dead-dry skin beautifully, pampering and keeping my feet soft, clean and fresh.
A great product and I recommend this to everyone. Use this to scrub
away rough patches of hardened skin, to leave feet femininely soft, smooth and fresh J
I am on my second tub
and will definitely be repurchasing again.

Rating:-
4/5
