CLINIQUE High Impact Mascara Review

As they say, “Inner beauty is great, but a little mascara never hurt”. To me, mascara is very essential and helps me feel put together. When in I am in a hurry, I’ll just put on mascara and black kohl all the way around the inner rim. It is a totally sexy eye makeup in a minute. Masacaras complete me :D
Today I am going to talk about a raved product from the beauty industry. It is CLINIQUE High Impact Mascara.

This is one of Clinique’s best selling mascaras. So lets see if I am happy with this mascara or not.

What the Company Claims About the Product:
Kicks up the volume and length of each and every lash. Pure, deep colour only adds to the impact. Lashes get instant volume and length.

Packaging:

It comes in a light-weighed dark green shimmery tube (Did it make sense?). Come ‘on Clinique, it looks boring, flimsy and the brush design looks outdated.

My Experience:-

It is black, but not the blackest black that I am really fond of.  The consistency is pretty good, more on the wetter side, just the way I like. It works brilliantly to define and separate my lashes. I wore this for 8 hours at a stretch, and I didn’t face any smudging or flaking problems, but it couldn’t hold curl for more than 2-3 hours. The formula is semi-waterproof, so it washes off easily with the help of regular face wash/cleansers. No need to soak your lashes in makeup remover or oil at the end of day, no need of rubbing and harming your lashes.  

Summing up my Likes and Dislikes-

What I LIKED about CLINIQUE High Impact Mascara:-

• Natural black color.
• Provides nice, soft volume and length.
• Results in defined, natural looking lashes.
• Doesn't clump.
• Well pigmented.
• Creamy consistency, more on the wetter side.
• Stays pretty long.
• No smudging or flaking issues.
• Can be removed very easily.
• Easily available.

What I Don’t LIKE about CLINIQUE High Impact Mascara:-

• Expensive.
• Doesn’t hold curl for long.
• Not the jet black color which I am fond of.
• Not a fan of the packaging.

Final thoughts:-
This is a product that will enhance the natural beauty of lashes and will define them in the most natural way possible. Well I wouldn't say I am disappointed with this, I have decent eye lashes and this is my favourite everyday wear mascara. This gives my lashes a full, natural look, without being clumpy.  So if you are looking for a non-dramatic, everyday wear mascara, then this is for you. But if you're looking for very dramatic results, then you need to look elsewhere.
