Easy Halloween Witch/Catwitch Makeup Tutorial

“Tis now the very witching time of night
When churchyards yawn and hell itself breathes out
Contagion to this world…”

Happy Halloween everyone,

Witches are among the most popular characters of Halloween celebration. Witch and ghost make merry on this last of dear October’s days.
So today I tried this easy-peasy Halloween witch makeup look. My version of witch makeup is a little less scary. So no green face, no big nose, no long pointy chin and no warts or scars.
So lets begin…

Base:-
My base is the Studio Fix Fluid by MAC. I wanted to use a couple of shades lighter, but couldn't :(
Apply a good concealer under the eyes, couple of shades lighter than your actual your skin tone. It is very important to have a bright under eye area for the look.

Eyes:-
  • Start my priming your eyes.
  • Groom your eyebrows. Do your eyebrows a little darker than usual. Witches have dramatically-arched brows, so find the natural arch of your brow and accentuate it with a black eyebrow pencil by raising it up a bit.
  • Eye shadows:- Take a slight shimmery black eye shadow and apply it on your lid. Now take a reddish raspberry colored eye shadow and apply on crease. Blend any harsh lines. You can take the raspberry shade all the way to the nose. Apply a shimmery champagne or pale gold on brow bone.
  • Time for eyeliner:  Draw a thick stroke of liner on the upper lid and wing it out. Extend the inner corners as well. You can use liquid or gel. Now take a black the same liner and start lining from the outer corner and move inwards. When you reach midway, drop the line. Don’t line rest of the lower lash line.
  • Finish off with loads of mascara.

Lips:-
Take a dark colored lipstick and outline your lips with it. Take a lighter shade and apply it on the inner portion of the lips. Blend the harsh lines in between. I applied kajal on my outline and red colored lipstick on my inner portion.

Cheeks:-
Contouring is very essential when you are going for Halloween looks. Apply a matte brown shade to your cheeks and temple to create a hollowed look. You can apply a swirl of your blush too. I used a swirl of MAC Melba.

So, that's it. Hope you liked the look.  Let us know how you celebrated the day...
