Festive Smoky Eyes look with Classic Red Lips

Smokey eyes have been a big style statement for quite a while and have always helped in creating a very glamorous, sexy and attractive look. As the festive month is approaching, I thought of doing a simple festive smoky eyes look with classic red lips. This kind of classic makeup is a very versatile and can compliment both Indian and western attire..

Base:-
My base is the Studio Fix Fluid by MAC.
Apply a good concealer under the eyes, preferably couple of shades lighter than your actual your skin tone.. It is very important to have a bright under eye area for any smoky eye look to work.

Eyes:-
Prime your eyelids well. The last thing you want is t
he smoky eye creasing.

On my upper eye lid I have used the eye shadow “Blackout” and on my upper crease line I have used a shiny brown which is “Snakebite”. I
have used the shade “Bootycall” on my brow bone and "Half Baked" on my inner corners. All the eye shadows are from Urban Decay NAKED 2 pallet.

“Blackout” is a stunning, insanely pigmented matte black eye s
hadow.
“Snakebite” is a sizzling dark bronze with a dirty golden shimmer-sheen. It has a really lovely dense, buttery texture with an excellent color payoff.

“Bootycall” is a pretty peach-tinted white-beige eye s
hadow with a frost finish.

"Half Baked" is a coppery brown with a golden shimmer-sheen.

You can go for any brand of your choice.

On my outer lower lash line I have used the Maybelline Collasal Kajal and smudged it with a smudge brush from Colorbar. I have completed my eye makeup with the L’Oreal Million Lashes mascara.

My blush is "Candid Coral" by Elf.
I have lined and filled out my lips with the nude lip liner “nude pink” by Colorbar and the lipstick is “Rouge Jet set” by Bourjois.
I really wanted to use a matte red lipstick, but I have none here with me right now.

Otherwise I would have blindly gone for MAC “Ruby Woo” with this look.

Products I have used:-

  • A matte black, a shimmery dark bronze/brown, a champagne brow bone color and a golden eye shadow. I have used the Naked 2 Pallet. You can go for any other brands.

  • L'Oreal Million Lashes mascara
